Deadpan Powerpoint - Farewell Performance

Deadpan Powerpoint’s Farewell Performance

Comments: Disabled

It started as a one-off at a friend, and fellow sketch comedian’s going away party; a deadpan powerpoint lecture entitled “Keys to Invincibility in Verbal Argumentation.” And it was under this name that Mike Kiss and Ted Sutton, formerly of The Somethingorothers, debuted as a duo at TOsketchfest in 2009. Incidentally, it is still the longest and most cumbersome name in this festival’s history. Soon, the moniker gave way to Deadpan Powerpoint – truth in a name.  Their signature lectures on such topics as murder, the hipster , the sketch comedian and their most recent addition, “The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Dogs,” have become a TOsketchfest staple, and won them the 2010 NOW Audience Choice Award.

Tonight (Thursday, March 14, 2013), this ride comes to an end at Lower Ossington Theatre.  If you miss this one, you truly have missed something special.
