The Dance Party of Newfoundland

Newfoundlanders (re)Unite!

The Dance Party of Newfoundland debuted at TOsketchfest in 2006.  Their first performance took place in the ballroom of the Gladstone Hotel, the festival’s first home.  The next year, their off the wall characters and decidedly authentic Newfoundland accents saw them win The Best of the Fest Award, and since then the accolades and credits they have garnered individually have been nothing short of impressive.  You’ll know their faces from roles in television series like Murdoch Mysteries, Republic of Doyle, Death Comes to Town and 22 Minutes, and their writing is even more ubiquitous in award-winning series like Three Chords from the Truth, Call Me Fitz, and Lost Girl.  They’re no strangers to the big screen either appearing in the critically acclaimed Sundace hit “Grown Up Movie Star.”

Tonight, by some strange miracle, DPN is suiting up once more.  Do NOT miss this – who the heck knows when you’ll get the opportunity again.
