Rules

1. Each Troupe will submit Team Name/Players by e-mail prior to prior to the deadline – Monday, May 28.
2. Schedule of Preliminary Rounds will be posted on TOsketchfest Website and Facebook Page by Friday, June 1.
3. Sketch troupes to include 2 or more people.
4. All material to be completely scripted.
5. Videos will not be accepted.

Preliminary Rounds:

1. Each Troupe will perform 1 sketch (written) in under 5 minutes.
2. Ballots will be collected (voted on only by non-performers) at the end of each Preliminary Round show.
3. 1 Sketch Troupe will be nominated to the Semi-Finals by receiving the most votes by audience members.
4. 1 Sketch Troupe will be nominated to the Semi-Finals by the TOsketchfest Judges.

Semi-Final Round:

1. The 12 winning troupes from the preliminary rounds will each perform one set not to exceed 10 minutes.
2. Ballots will be collected (voted on only by non-performers) at the end of each Semi-Final performance.
3. 1 Sketch Troupe will be nominated to the Finals by receiving the most votes by audience members.
4. 1 Sketch Troupe will be nominated to the Finals by the TOsketchfest Judges.

Final Round:

1. The 4 winning troupes from the Semi-Finals will each perform one set not to exceed 15 minutes.
2. Ballots will be collected (voted on only by non-performers) at the end of the performance.
3. 1 Sketch Troupe will be named winner by receiving the most votes by audience members and will receive the Sketch Com-Ageddon Prize (the total troupe registration pot and guaranteed entrance into the 8th Annual Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival.)
