The Show:

Explore a world of characters and relationships with Soul Decision. Christian Smith and Kevin Vidal smoothly transition from scene to scene, coworkers at an office party to two high school graduates discussing their new futures.

The Bio:

Soul Decision was created by Christian Smith and Kevin Vidal in late 2014. The duo began as an improv troupe but they had their sketch premier in 2016’s Montreal Sketch Fest.

Christian Smith is an actor, comedian and writer. He has created/directed and performed in the monthly character monologue show, Showlo. He’s also a member of the award winning sketch comedy group The Riot (5x sketchfest performers, NOW Audience Choice ’09) and you can currently see him performing with The Second City’s HouseCo and understudies for their Touring Company. Selected Film/Television: Alias Grace (CBC/Netflix), The Other Half (SXSW), Reign (CBS), Mayday (History), In Return (Audience Choice award, Sudbury Cinefest) Selected Theatre: The Shape of Things (Fringe 2012, Best of Fringe), Blue Moon Girls (“NNNN” Best Ensemble) I’ll always be there to kill you (Summerworks).

Kevin Vidal, winner of 2016 Canadian Screen Award for his work on Sunnyside (CityTV/Rogers Media) “Best Performance in a Variety or Sketch Comedy Program or Series (Individual or Ensemble)”. In 2015, Sixteen Scandals, a show Kevin wrote and performed in at The Second City Toronto took home “Best Comedic Play/Revue or Series (Live)” and was nominated for a Dora award for “Outstanding Performance – Ensemble”.
