Synopsis:

“Connoisseurs” is a satirical take on the subculture of whisky snobs.

Creative Bio:
Writer/Director/Actor: Alexi Papalexopoulos – Alexi is a filmmaker, photographer and musician born and raised in San Francisco, currently living in Los Angeles. A graduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts (2012), Alexi creates visuals for narrative films, commercials, branded content, and music videos.
Alexi is currently developing a feature length film while his short films circulate in various international film festivals.

Actress/Producer: Arianna Papalexopoulos – Arianna trained at the American Conservatory Theater (ACT) in San Francisco and then made her move to Los Angeles where she graduated from UCLA’s School of Theater, Film, and Television. After graduation, she studied with Groundlings, Lesly Kahn, and Tess Kirsch. She has performed at SF Sketchfest with San Francisco’s comedy troupe, Killing My Lobster, and her latest voice over booking was for Uber Safety. Comedy is her strength and she continuously writes, acts, and produces sketches for her channel, TwinGirlPeeks.

DP: Luka Bazeli – Since graduating from USC, Bazeli has been working as a Director of Photography on feature films, commercials, short films and music videos. Most recently, he wrapped principal photography on AMERICAN BOGEYMAN, directed by Dan Farrands and starring Chad Michael Murray, and prior to that he lensed Lee Ann Hoover’s directing debut feature, STUDENT BODY.
