Creative Bio:
Born in November 2018, The HERlarious Show is a variety show produced and hosted by Rachel La Loca (Bring the Funny, NBC/Latinos Out Loud podcast/Sonoro Network). The HERlarious Show consists of six core players and a rotating supporting cast of the funniest females of sketch, improv, stand-up and musical acts across the USA! This ever-expanding militia of funny women represent the different schools and stages of the comedy world. Cast members have performed and/or write for Netflix, Desus & Mero (Showtime), Entre Nos (HBO Latino) Like, Share, Dimelo! (Fuse Network) The Drew Barrymore Show (CBS), Nickelodeon, Sesame Street, The Onion, Broadway Video, JFL Festival, Toronto Sketch Fest, The Upright Citizens Brigade, People’s Improv Theatre, the comedy club circuit of NYC, YouTube, Instagram, and more!
Before the panndemic, we had established runs at both The Soho Playhouse and The Triad – both prestigious off-Broadway NYC theatres, where guests were treated to self-written video and live sketches, standup,
monologues, music, improv and more. Boys are allowed and welcome but this show is all about the ladies – from the graphic designer, to the stage hands, actors, directors and writers – we are here to move the needle as much as WE can for women in comedy!
