Creative Bio:
Tom is a sketch comedian, improvisor and producer. PRE PANDY You could catch him in the hit improv show Hookup at Bad Dog Theatre Company, his sold out original hit Lipsynced The Show or his all over Canada and the United States with his around 5 star reviewed solo show “SLANG”. He is the creator of the sold-out Proud + Funny Festival (IRL and ONLINE) and the 420 Comedy Festival. He also created the queer sketch revue “ A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza” which was named one of the Top Five Comedy shows of 2018 by NOW Magazine and won the Canadian Comedy Award for Best Live Production. “A Sketch Comedy Extravaganza Eleganza” also played in OFF-JFL in Montreal after a successful run on the Second City Toronto Mainstage.
During the PANDY Tom has carved out a space for himself online (www.youtube.com/tomhearn). He was named one of the ‘Top 11 Canadian Comedians who Rocked 2020’ by the Interrobang. He has also been featured on Funny Or Die’s Best of the Web for his sketch “10/17”. Since March 2020 Tom has created over 25 online sketches and been a leader in streaming LIVE comedy with shows like: The BIT, Hot Takes, 10/17, Sunday Night Live and Theatresports, Globehead, The Oval and Hookup on Bad Dog Comedy TV.
Spencer Crone is a video producer, director and editor from Toronto, Ontario. He has worked on short films and web series such as “The Love Bug”, “Mama!”, and “Mourning Period”. In addition to his film work, he has created compelling visual marketing and short documentary features for companies and agencies such as AT&T, Quickplay, Spark, and Sugino Studio. Most recently, Crone has served as producer and technical director for a variety of live online productions, including The Sketchersons, A Night with Tricia Black, 10/17: A High Improv Show, The Bit, Hot Takes, My Funny Valentine and the Straight Gagging video podcast. He is a regular collaborator with Canadian Comedy Award winning comedian Tom Hearn.
