New This Year!

The TSCF is pleased to announce that the Festival will include performances at Toronto’s three top comedy venues: The Diesel Playhouse, The Second City and Comedy Bar.  The addition of a third venue will allow most Festival troupes (and all out of town troupes) two performances in the Festival schedule.

The Festival will continue the tradition of honouring top-quality troupes through various awards, and is pleased to announce that The Best of the Fest Encore Show performance will take place in February 2009. This move will allow greater opportunity to promote the show to industry, media and the general public.

Thank you to everyone who put their name in the ring to perform in this years’ Festival! We saw an outstanding number of videos of very high quality, and as always, the job of the programming jury was not an easy one.

See you in November!
