On July 29th, The Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival broadcast the Best of the Fest Award Show – an online spectacle, hosted by Ashley Comeau and Connor Thompson of The Lusty Mannequins.
Originally scheduled for March 15, 2020, the Best of the Fest Award Show featured award presentations, and appearances from Festival favourites. The show is now available to watch anytime on YouTube, and FacebookLive. In addition to award presentations, viewers can enjoy sketch comedy performances by Diane, and Anesti Danelis, plus more surprise appearances!
Throughout the show, we announced the winners of the Festival’s five awards: The Outstanding Comedy Short Award presented by CBC, The Steam Whistle Producers’ Pick Award, The Audience Choice Awards presented by THINGS, The Sketchiest Sketch Troupe Award, and The Best of the Fest Award presented by Church + State.
